Rides that Everyone can Ride at Disneyland

August 30, 2018

Let me paint a picture.  My son, four years old, desperately wanted to ride Star Tours.  We assumed he was tall enough, our oldest son was at that age.  Imagine his heartbreak when we walk through the line and get to the sign that measures height and he didn't make the cut.  He was devastated.  All of this could have been alleviated if we would have checked his height prior to our trip.

Learn from our mistake, measure each of your children before you leave home.

This is a thing that most people don't think about before they go.
Certain rides are only available to people over a certain height.  This can be a very frustrating discovery when you arrive in line only to have to explain to your child that they are not yet big enough for the ride they had their heart set on.

On that note, I would like to share complete lists of rides that ANYONE can ride regardless of height.  Yep, these rides are fun for the whole family, no tears necessary.

As you can see, Fantastyland is stuffed full of fun for all ages!  There is so much to do in this area, but make sure you hit it early as this area will become super crowded by mid day.  Just because you only see one or two attractions for young kids don't discredit the other areas.  There are plenty of things to SEE in all of the areas of the park.

Make sure you take time to spend in ToonTown.  This land it is set up for small children.  There are tons of interactive items in the "Town" area.  Buttons to press, doorknobs to pull, dynamite to try to explode.  Over by the fountain, there are spots on the ground that make the fountain play music.  The characters houses are not to be missed!  My kids loved them with they were little.  They could have spent hours upon hours of our day in ToonTown.

You are welcome, moms of small kiddos.  Here is a complete list of attractions that your entire family can ride on together.  Get your kids pumped up for these rides and there will be no let down!  As you will see, there is plenty to do with a family with small children.

Don't Shy away from the parks with little ones, there is so much to do with small children!
