Holiday Sheet Obsession
November 09, 2017
The minute my Halloween Decorations come down for the season, I become obsessed with decorating for Christmas.
Since I am not willing to be one of those crazy people who puts up Christmas before Thanksgiving, I sit and I stew and I obsess about what new Christmas decor I would be bringing into my home.
This year it seems the obsession is all about bedding this year. I love the idea of bringing Christmas decor into the bedrooms in a subtle way. Bedding seems simple enough and won't add more clutter to their rooms.
Let me dive into the prints that have been holding my attention.
Clockwise from top left:
Woodland Sheets from The Company Store- These would be so cute in a children's room. The print is fun and whimsical. They are moderately priced at around $90 for an entire twin size set. These would be an investment that could be used every Christmas for years to come. Find them HERE.
The White and Red plaid sheet would be beautiful all winter long. No need to take them off after Christmas. They are a warm flannel and super affordable for the budget minded. At $30 for the entire set these are hard to over look from JC Penny. HERE.
I am absolutely IN LOVE with these Town to Country Sheets from Garnet Hill. The print lends itself to the holidays but could also be extended through the winter season. These are going to be soft and luxurious as is everything from Garnet Hill. A bit of a splurge for a holiday sheet at $130, but again these would easily stand the test of time. Find them HERE.
Buffalo check seems to be all the rage right now. These are lovely and again could be extended throughout the winter. I would love these in a little boys room. Soft and snugly and affordable starting at $25 for a twin size $60 for king. Find them HERE at Bed Bath and Beyond.
I almost pulled the trigger on these Grinch sheets more times that I'd like to admit. They are so fun and whimsical! From Pottery Barn Kids, you know they will be well made and soft. Price point is $80 for a twin size sheet. This was a little more than I wanted to spend for sheets that would be only used one month of the year, but man, they are cute! HERE.
I am personally in love with this cute print from Target's Wondershop line. Since they are Target you can guess that they are super affordable. They are a micro flannel, so although they are soft and cozy, they may not last super long. Again, for a sheet that is used one month of the year, seems like a great option. At $27 for a Queen set seems like this purchase is a no brainer. HERE.
Another adorable and affordable option for a kids room are the Gnome skier sheets from JC Penny. These are a budget friendly find at $23 for the set in a Twin size. Think of the happy holiday dreams kiddos would have snuggled up in these. HERE.
Last but not least the Vintage Ski sheets from Orvis are really beautiful. If you have a skier in your home, these would be a great winter sheet and again, well made enough to last years to come. They would be all winter long sheets as they are not holiday specific and guaranteed they would be comfortable and soft. Again, a bit more expensive sitting at $140 for a Queen set but would be a worthwhile investment that would last for a long time. HERE.
I have been perusing for a number of weeks now and am about ready to pull the trigger on holiday bedding for the whole house. I have a feeling we will end up going a more budget route, as they will only be on the beds from Thanksgiving to New Years. I know I want those cute Target Wondershop ones somewhere in my life, and the plaids, well you can't go wrong with plaid.
Happy Holiday Sheet Shopping!
